This seat cover is exactly the same as the one originally fitted to the seat on...
1977-'80 R60/7, R75/7, R80/7, and R100/7.
The cover on your /7 dual seat is held on by specially made small fasteners that also hold on the bottom trim molding. Because of how the seats were originally manufactured — protruding threads of the bolts on the inside are snipped off to remove potentially dangerous sharp edges — the fasteners must replaced when restoring the cover or trim (or at least the bolts and nuts). The /6 seat requires 22 of each of the following BMW parts:
•52 53 1 231 319 BOLT for seat cover & trim
•07 11 9 922 016 NUT for seat cover & trim
•07 11 9 931 015 WASHER for seat cover & trim
