1975-1984 R90S and R100 models where the seat was surrounded by an attached painted metal cowl, specifically: R100S/CS/RS/RT & R80RT).
NOTE: This seat ALSO fits 1974 R90S, however the cover pattern is different than what was originally on the '74 model. Additionally, many late 1983 & '84 R100 models came with a different cover pattern, though this seat DOES fit those models too.

The seat is COMPLETE with the front and rear hinges, adjustable locking pin, rubber frame bumpers, and fastener hardware to attach it to your cowl. Basically, you detach your worn out seat from the cowl, drop the replica in its place, reattach the cowl, adjust the hinge position, screw in the lock pin and adjust its height for proper actuation and you're set to ride off. Your bike will look instantly thirty years younger, and you'll be proud!

The vinyl cover material has the same texture and embossed rib pattern as the original did. The foam is shaped correctly and appropriately firm for a comfortable ride. The bottom pan is painted steel, also like the original.
