Karcoma Petcock Screen Filter

This filter screen is NLA (No Longer Available) from BMW. We offer this one instead which is from Karcoma, the Original Equipment Manufacturer in Germany.

Used on all Airhead twin models, 1970-'95.

The filters go on the top of each petcock (fuel tap) inside the gas tank and have a built-in crush gasket (soldered to the base of the filter screen). It should be routine maintenance to check, clean, or replace these screens as necessary. They're a critical primary defense against particles and impurities that can get into the carburetors, or worse, into your engine.
