Fuel/Gas Cap for 1970-1976 Airheads
The standard fuel cap (non-locking) for early 1970's Airheads has been unavailable from BMW for quite some time. This nicely made reproduction is available NOW! It is compatible with the following models:
R50/5, R60/5, R75/5
R60/6, R75/6, R90/6 & R90S*
The cap is supplied complete with gasket. The cap hinge pin is not included, please see required products. Also see recommended products for a lockable type.
*The original finish on 1974-'76 models (/6 and R90S) was chrome plated. The finish on this fuel cap is not chrome, but rather, the polished alloy finish typical of 1970-'73 (/5) fuel caps. Fit, function, and installation are the same for all.
