Whether crossing the continent or crossing town, if you have cargo that must stay dry, this waterproof duffel from BMW is what you need. And rest assured you’ll carry a lot of stuff in this duffel. At 55+ liters, it can swallow a whole campsite worth of stuff and still have room for the firewood! With a selection of straps provided (not shown in these photos), it mounts easily on either the luggage rack or the passenger seat of almost any motorcycle.

Padded carry handles and detachable shoulder strap make for easy transport off bike. A full length diagonal zipper makes it easy to pack or unpack, and of course the zipper is the self-sealing waterproof type. There is an outer mesh bag incorporated into the strap system that can be used to dry your laundry while you ride or simply for carrying little stuff you want quick access to. Detach the mesh bag, turn it over and there’s a highly reflective DAY-GLO panel that you can expose for greater conspicuity while riding at night, or to warn traffic in case of a roadside emergency. Compression straps allow you to adjust the volume of the bag to its contents.
