SW-MOTECH Quick-Lock Bottom Tank Ring for EVO Tank Bags

SW-MOTECH QUICK-LOCK EVO Tank Bag Bottom Tank Rings are to be used in conjunction with SW-MOTECH Quick-Lock EVO tank bags. Note: PRICE VARIES with model.

Tank rings are motorcycle specific, so be sure check the SW-MOTECH EVO Style Tank Ring Guide photo (above) to determine the correct tank ring for your motorcycle prior to placing your order. (If the model type you need is not shown in the selection menu at right, please CALL!)

The SW-MOTECH QUICK-LOCK tank bag system enables a tank bag to be mounted or removed easily without the use of straps or magnets that may damage your motorcycle's finish. The tank bag (sold separately) comes with an upper tank ring. This Bottom Tank Ring described here is designed to be installed on the motorcycle, and is REQUIRED for the complete tank bag system to work. Once the system is assembled, the tank bag can be easily snapped securely into place, or removed by pulling a release lanyard at the front of the tank bag.

Fitment Note:
The Fitment Guide for 2008-'09 models (among the photos above) illustrates the move from snap fit to screw type mounting in gas cap configurations on certain BMW motorcycles produced after (approximately) August 2008. We have seen some variance on both sides of this date, so we encourage you to double check the underside of the gas cap outer ring on your specific machine prior to ordering. This requires removing the four Torx-head screws, visible with the filler cap open, and lifting the filler assembly out of the fuel tank.
