Bob’s High Mileage Polar Bear Challenge

How much winter riding can you bear?

Join Bob’s first annual High Mileage Polar Bear Challenge. All brand riders are encouraged to join in the fun and all you have to do is ride…it’s that simple!

Round 1 begins in December. Prizes will be awarded to the male and female rider each month that logs the most miles in the time periods outlined below. Plus, at the end of the four rounds, both the male and female rider with the highest cumulative miles will be the Grand Prize Winners.

Each winner will receive winter riding gear provided by Gerbing and Rev’it who have agreed to sponsor the challenge. Not to mention bragging rights, a cool “Polar Bear Challenge” bike decal(s), and public recognition via eblasts, facebook, and print publications.

How To Register
Registration must be completed in person with the Service Department.
Registration is open during regular service department business hours, Tuesday-Friday 9am-6pm and Saturday 9am-4pm (see below for specific dates).

With the obvious intent of the challenge being to log as many miles as possible in a short period of time, each motorcycle will receive a FREE winter safety inspection by one of our certified technicians. We want participants to have fun and enjoy the competition but we want to do what we can to ensure everyone is safe in the process. With that said, each inspector holds the right to deny participation in the challenge if the bike is deemed unsafe for heavy winter riding.

How The Challenge Works
To accommodate schedules, each round’s registration will remain open throughout most of the month but keep in mind the sooner you register your starting mileage, the better chances you have in winning! If by any chance you are not able to check in during the check in dates listed below, we ask that you purchase a newspaper, hold it next to your odometer and email that image to hanna.creekmore@bobsbmw.com. Please note: this means of check-in cannot be used on a regular basis.

You can participate in as many rounds as you like. You do NOT have to participate in every round but again, the more miles you officially check-in with us, the better your chances of being one of the grand prize winners!

In an effort to keep the challenge as fair as possible, registration and subsequent check-ins must be done in person, dates are listed below.

Round One – December

• Register your starting mileage between Dec 3-Dec. 28
• Check-in your ending mileage January 2-January 4

Round 2 – January

• Register your starting mileage between January 2-January 30
• Check-in your ending mileage January 31-February 1

Round 3 – February

• Register your starting mileage between January 31-February 27
• Check-in your ending mileage February 28-March 1

Round 4 – March

• Register your starting mileage between February 28 – March 28
• Check-in ending mileage March 29-April 1
