This bike was purchased new at Bob’s in 2014 by a retired commanding motor officer who served for many, many years in one of our region's county police departments. This was his personal bike and the one he loved most. He cared for it extremely well as you can clearly see but didn’t get to ride it as much as he would have liked. Thus, when it came into our Service Department for preparation, Job One was to find and mitigate any possible effects of a long storage period. Naturally, that included renewing the Engine and Drivetrain Oils, the Oil Filter and Air Filter, and installing new Spark Plugs. Then, we installed NEW TIRES, NEW BATTERY, and new Rear Brake Pads. Finally, the critical step, treating the entire Fuel System; it was completely flushed and cleaned, with remedial steps taken to assure no gremlins remained from its long disuse. All other performance adjustments were made as needed, then an extended Road Test to shake out any possible flaws. The good news: it runs like NEW! We put it through Maryland Safety Inspection, it’s all A-1 condition, ready to ride and enjoy immediately.
