This Top End Reseal Kit is for all 1978-1995 R100 models.
Specifically, this kit fits...
All 1978 & later R100 /7, S, CS, RS, RT, GS, GS/PD, R, Classic, Mystic, including all twin-shock, Monolever, & Paralever models. (1977 R100 models use a separate kit.)

Put a stop to all the weeping and dripping and gunk messing up your beautiful boxer engine! Here are all the gaskets and seals—all Genuine BMW Parts—required to properly reseal the cylinders and heads on both sides of your motorcycle.
IMPORTANT: If you don’t already have it, you’ll ALSO need a tube of Permatex Ultra-Grey RTV Silicone Gasket Sealer (shown at right) to achieve a proper seal at the cylinder bases, and optionally, the pushrod tube seals.

• 2 Cylinder Head Gaskets
• 2 Valve Cover Gaskets
• 4 Pushrod Tube Seals
• 4 Wrist Pin Circlips
• 4 Cylinder Stud O-rings
• 2 Cylinder Base O-rings*

*Please NOTE: There are some '78-'80 bikes that do NOT use the Cylinder Base O-rings. Most bikes do use the o-ring and can be identified by the presence of a groove for the o-ring in the engine block casting along with a corresponding groove at the base of each cylinder. If the grooves are not present, the o-rings should not be used and only Permatex RTV Silicone Gasket Sealer applied at the cylinder base assembly. If your model is one of these (impossible to tell in advance by year or VIN), you may return the unused cylinder base o-rings for full credit.
