This is the BASE Kit for General Maintenance and Tune-Up on all 1970-'76 Airheads that have a front DRUM Brake. That includes all /5 models and R60/6.
You’ll also need to buy the Full Service Supplement Kit specific to your model (sold separately) in order to have ALL the parts for the job. Together, the two kits give you all the FLUIDS, FILTERS, and TUNE-UP ITEMS required for a Full Service. In addition, you'll get frequently neglected or overlooked items that should be replaced when doing a full service.

THIS Kit contains:
• 3 Liters 20W-50 ADVANTEC Classic Engine Oil (Mineral)
• 2 Quarts 80W90 Hypoid Gear Oil
• 1 Quart 11.5 Wt Fork Oil*
• 1 Air Filter
• 2 Valve Cover Gaskets
• 1 Speedometer Cable Boot (at transmission)
• 1 Fuel Line (length: 1 meter) with correct braided cloth covering (not BMW)
• 2 Upper Filter Screens for Petcocks (Karcoma)
• 8 Various Crush Washers for fill & drain plugs on engine/drive train/forks.

*As of Oct. 2015, BMW 11.5 weight fork oil became the factory specified grade for ALL models that previously used 7.5 grade oil. The photo above was taken prior to the transition. 7.5 fork oil is no longer available. All our kits now include 11.5 weight fork oil.
