Genuine BMW battery pad for 1948-1954 BMW models, found on:R51/2, R51/3, R67, R67/2, R67/3, R68, R24, R25 Series (will also fit later Euro models and Pre-War bikes). Fits right inside the tray and gives the battery proper friction with the strap to keep from shifting.

Note: If using an older acid fill type battery, coat the pad in Baking Soda. It will help neutralize vented electrolyte from the battery.
