Equipped with a 21” front and 18” rear wheel, the new DesertX is designed to handle even the most challenging off-road terrain. Ducati has combined its road expertise with dedicated off-road development to create a responsive and manoeuvrable bike that is at ease on all types of trail and asphalt.

• Off-road Chassis — A 21” front and 18” rear wheel, long stroke suspension, generous ground clearance (9.8 in) and an off-road frame designed and tested to withstand the toughest conditions.
• Ergonomics for All Conditions — A focus on ergonomics and aerodynamics makes for a motorcycle that is at home off-road and equally comfortable, easy, and safe during everyday use and when travelling.
• Advanced Electronics for Maximum Versatility — The versatility of DesertX is also reflected in its Riding Modes, all six of them. The Enduro and Rally modes are specifically dedicated to the off-road riding experience.
• Lightweight Engine tuned for Off-road use — DesertX is equipped with the latest evolution of the 937 cc Testastretta 11° with desmodromic timing, 3.7 lbs lighter than the previous generation of engine and equipped with a new gear ratio to ensure the very best off-road performance.

POST-HERITAGE and DIGITAL

The Centro Stile faced a totally new challenge with DesertX, seizing the opportunity to experiment with a new design language and seeking inspiration from the world of African rally raids. The result is a sturdy, clean, modern design, based on shapes from the off-road world. A bike that wants to be robust, solid, and functional at the same time.

CONCEPT: Post-Heritage Minimal — The aesthetic of DesertX manages to combine the suggestion of the "Dakarians" with an almost touch interface feeling. It is post-heritage and digital at the same time

FLYLINE: Essential and Robust — The bike is visually composed of three macro elements: a single central volume, the seat, and the windshield, which incorporates the double headlight. A robust design that blends form and function.

ERGONOMICS: Designed for Comfort — The surfaces in contact with the rider are expansive and well connected, allowing unhindered movement in different directions, particularly during off-road riding.
