JOIN THE FUN!

Summer has been a blast but we are ready to kick off the BEST riding season in the Mid-Atlantic with one of our BEST events of the year: Bob’s 2018 Fall Open House & Swap Meet, featuring BMW Ambassador Shawn Thomas and World Traveler Neale Bayly!

The day is FREE and open to all riders. The more the merrier so consider bringing your non-riding friend along to show them what motorcycling is all about!

SELLERS

Spaces are FREE! Start cleaning out your garages and gathering your spare parts, accessories you no longer use, and riding gear that’s just lying around. Set up shop at Bob’s BMW and earn some extra gas money for the good riding weather ahead! If it’s motorcycle related, goods for any year, make or model, bring it with you! Even motorcycles for sale are welcome.

Attention bargain hunters!! Sellers will be set up and ready for business at 9am when gates open. Consider bringing your bike in for while-u-wait service to get early access to the swap meet! 

SHAWN THOMAS, BMW AMBASSADOR

You have likely seen Shawn Thomas on dealer TV screens promoting BMW products and/or promoting Rawhyde Adventures during his time there as a lead instructor. It was in 2004 when Shawn began his career as a BMW dealership employee, and took to the sport of Adventure riding. 13 years later Shawn has traveled the world offering tours and training focused on motorcycles, parts, and apparel.

He will be at Bob’s Open House hosting mini-clinics throughout the day discussing ride mode electronics, connectivity, adventure apparel, ergonomics for adventure riding and MORE!

NEALE BAYLY, JOURNALIST & PHILANTHROPIC ADVENTURE RIDER 

Neale Bayly took three average riders on a trip of a lifetime to Peru where they faced unbelievable challenges through the deserts and mountains, but found it all worth it when their journey led them to an orphanage. 

The entire trip was filmed by a TV crew to create Neale Bayly Rides and we are thrilled to announce Neale will be riding to Bob’s Open House to meet and greet customers and share about his past and upcoming BMW motorcycle adventures (one coming up as soon as November 2018)! 

TEST RIDE YOUR DREAM BIKE

Arrive early and head straight to the demo tent to sign up to ride as many models in our demo fleet as you like! Models include but are not limited to the BMW K1600 Bagger, S1000RR, G310R, G310GS, R1200GS, and MORE! These are group led rides beginning at 9am and ending at 3pm. Spaces fill quickly so don’t delay. 

NOTE: Riders must have proper attire for test rides including, DOT approved helmet, gloves, long pants, jacket, and over the ankle boots. You must be present at least 30 minutes prior to your scheduled departure. You can sign up and then come back or stick around and enjoy all the fun we have planned.

BOB’S VINTAGE BMW MOTORCYCLE MUSEUM

The museum is FREE and will be open until 2pm for guests to explore. Bob’s two floor motorcycle museum, conveniently located across the street from the dealership and in walkinig distance, dates back to 1923 and is filled with over 60 vinitage, classic, and one-of-a-kind motorcycles, as well as historic art and advertisements, apparel, parts, and more.

Museum Curator, Paul Rubenson will be available to walk you through BMW Motorrad history and answer your all of your questions. Food and drinks are not permitted. Photographs are welcome!
