Enduro is about endurance, control, and the ability to adapt to any situation. The Desmo450 EDS was born specifically for this purpose. Designed to tackle every type of route, this is the first modern Ducati street-legal enduro bike.

Pure off-road adrenaline. The Desmo450 EDS turns every ride into pure adrenaline, transitioning seamlessly from technical sections to high-speed stretches. A motorcycle developed to embody enduro in its truest form, on and off trail.

Developed on the racetrack, in the Ducati tradition. The Desmo450 MX was born out of a desire to expand and engage new enthusiasts. Launched in 2021, it fully embodies Ducati's development philosophy: to experiment and refine in competitions solutions intended later for production motorcycles.

ENGINE | Total control and constant traction

The Desmo450 EDS is built around its beating heart: an engine developed for enduro riding, designed to ensure consistent traction, control, and smoothness across all conditions. A natural evolution of the Desmo450 MX engine, it retains Ducati racing DNA and amplifies it to tackle any terrain, long distances, and extreme sections with greater precision and ease of handling.

• Showa suspension — The Desmo450 EDS features Showa suspension developed specifically for enduro riding, engineered to deliver the utmost sensitivity and control on any terrain. Able to absorb impacts and obstacles with progressive, precise action, it ensures a smooth and stable response even in the most extreme conditions.
• Full LED lighting system — The lighting units of the Desmo450 EDS are full LED and designed to meet the demands of enduro riding. The distinctive front headlight provides effective, well-distributed visibility in typical off-road conditions.
• Larger fuel tank: 2.2 US gallons (8.5 liters) — The enlarged 2.2 US-gallon (8.5-liter) fuel tank is designed to ensure greater range and to tackle longer routes without compromise. Integrated within the aluminum frame, it helps maintain the ideal balance between capability, ergonomics, and control.
• Advanced electronics and dedicated dashboard — The Desmo450 EDS integrates extensive Ducati expertise to ensure maximum control in every condition. When configured with the optional Racing Kit accessory, engine maps, traction control, engine brake and launch control can be managed directly via the handlebars and fully customized via the Ducati X-Link App, adapting the bike to every rider and terrain.
• Built to endure — The Desmo450 EDS is equipped with components to protect the motorcycle from the obstacles, impacts, and low-speed falls typical of enduro riding. Engine guard, hand guards, and dedicated covers ensure increased strength and protection. The cooling system with integrated electric fan actively manages engine temperature, safeguarding performance even in the most extreme situations.
• Wi-Fi module* — The Ducati Com-Link Wi-Fi module allows a smartphone to connect to the bike and access the Ducati X-Link App, developed to personalize, monitor, and manage your Ducati during off-road competition in a simple and intuitive way.

• Enduro-specific Desmo450 engine — The Desmo450 single-cylinder engine has been specifically modified for enduro riding to deliver increased torque and smoother power delivery. A unique piston, valve timing, flywheel, and six-speed gearbox are designed to deliver a precise, consistently smooth throttle response, maintaining traction, control, and riding continuity on uneven, low-traction surfaces.
• Metzeler 6 Days Extreme tires — this bike features a 21” front wheel and 18” rear wheel, fitted with Metzeler 6 Days Extreme tires. A configuration developed to deliver stability, traction, and precision on all types of terrain.
• Predictive maintenance* — One of the major innovations in off-road competition is predictive maintenance: an algorithm developed in collaboration with Ducati Corse to determine service intervals based on engine usage intensity. Maintenance includes two service levels: MID Service, which includes piston replacement and valve clearance checks, and FULL Service, which is dedicated to a complete engine overhaul. Both intervals vary with wear and actual usage conditions, optimizing performance and reliability over time.
