DESIGN: Essential and Contemporary

Monster retains the DNA of 1993 but in a more modern, sporty and technological guise. The engine is the undisputed star at centre stage, added to the unmistakable bison-back tank. The full LED headlight maintains the iconic Monster circular shape and is brought even more up to date with the bright signature of the DRL.

ENGINE: Ducati Testastretta 11°

The right boost for your enjoyment, 111 hp at 9,250 rpm with a maximum torque of 9.5 kgm delivered at just 6,500 rpm. An efficient and responsive engine in throttle response, smooth in city traffic but electrifying at medium-high revs.

CHASSIS: An Intuitive, Easy to Handle Bike

The Monster makes lightness one of its strengths. Each component is designed to weigh as little as possible, from the aluminium Front Frame, inspired by the Panigale V4, to the tail section directly connected to the engine. The result is an agile and compact bike, ideal for daily use and pure enjoyment.

ELECTRONICS: Riding Pleasure and a Sense of Control

Standard equipment includes Cornering ABS, Traction Control, and Wheelie Control, all of which can be adjusted according to different levels of intervention. The motorcycle’s sports attitude is further accentuated with Launch Control, which ensures lightning starts. This equipment allows for maximum expression of the bike's performance while maintaining a high degree of riding safety.

• Compact and Clean — The view from above highlights its sinewy shapes. The seat, narrow in the arch, feeds into the powerful tank and extends, towards the rear, to meet with the volume of the sporty side fairings.
• Testastretta Engine — High level performance and unrivalled riding pleasure. The latest evolution of the Testastretta 11° twin makes the new Monster your ideal partner. With many updated components helping to reduce the overall weight while maintaining levels of performance and reliability, the 937 cc Testastretta 11° is smooth and controlled at low speeds, navigating city traffic without hesitation, but also dynamic at mid to high speeds, for electrifying performance in every situation.
• Fuel Tank — The tank is the undisputed star of the bike. The muscular curved back for which the Monster stands out, sculpted by the unmistakable deep hollows for the rider’s knees, evolves in terms of its powerful ‘shoulders’ that extend towards the front wheel and loom over the integrated dynamic direction indicators.
• Electrical Equipment — Standard equipment includes Cornering ABS, Traction Control and Wheelie Control, all of which can be adjusted according to different levels of intervention. The motorcycle’s sports attitude is further accentuated with Launch Control, which ensures lightning starts.
• Full LED Headlight — The full LED headlight maintains the iconic Monster circular shape and is brought even more up to date with the bright signature of the DRL. The structure of the headlight evolves too, with a transparent cover that fully absorbs the optics and electronics. Technical elements such as the central unit and heat sink are fully visible and make for a modern, technological look.
• Steering Angle to Maximize Maneuverability — The new frame but also the careful positioning of components such as the radiator ensure significant improvement with respect to the previous generation of Monster. The steering angle rises to 36°, a good 7° more than before. As a result, the Monster is more agile than ever before in traffic, while making a U-turn is easier and more intuitive.
