• Blackstorm Metallic — Front-wheel cover, airbox cover, motorcycle seat: the color black runs throughout and takes the R 12 nineT to the next level. The tank in black with an aluminum look sets an exciting accent.
• Imperial Blue Metallic — The Imperial Blue Metallic color highlights the modern look of the R 12 nineT and gives it a charismatic character with stylish depths.
• Option 719 Aluminum — Setting the scene perfectly: the tank and hump are made of brushed aluminum with a clear coat. The red frame matches the red graphics on the airbox cover. The Option 719 alumnium milled parts underline the spectacular appearance.

• Eye-catching highlights: aluminum surfaces — The high-gloss lacquered, brushed aluminum surfaces ensure a radiant appearance. They create striking contrasts and emphasize the value of the R 12 nineT. Particularly eye-catching is the aluminum tank.
• Elegant-looking: Black Spoked Wheels — It rocks. And it rolls over the tarmac on the optional black spoked wheels in a more classic and sophisticated manner if you are looking for an even more expressive styling.
• Iconic drive: the boxer engine — The powerful heart of the R 12 nineT is a further stage of evolutionary of the 1,170 cc air/oil-cooled boxer engine. With a full 109 hp and 85 lb-ft, it provides an unmistakable riding experience.
• Setting the tone: the rear muffler — The sound of  the R 12 nineT comes from the completely revised exhaust system. Cool: the chrome-plated manifold with front silencer. Clean: the dual-branch rear silencer with conical mufflers and an electropolished finish.
• Casual riding with the Comfort Package — For the first time, the boxer has been equipped with a shift assistant. This is part of the optional comfort package. It enables smooth, fast gear changes without operating the clutch, thus increasing dynamics and riding comfort.
• Modern equipment: with digital display — Upon request, the R 12 nineT arrives in the digital age: With the optional Digital Display, the round instruments are replaced by a 3.5" micro TFT display, which ensures clear legibility even in bright light conditions thanks to its high resolution.
• Turning heads: the upside-down fork — It's not just a visual highlight for catching attention. The golden, fully adjustable 45-mm upside-down fork is also right ahead in terms of function.
• Smart tech: ConnectedRide Control — With the optional ConnectedRide Control, the R 12 nineT is equipped with a smartphone holder and a Bluetooth interface for pairing your smartphone and connecting it to the BMW Motorrad Connected app.

ROAD is optimized for everyday riding and for relaxed country roads. With DYNAMIC, you utilize the full potential of the boxer engine and dial riding pleasure to the max. The dynamic engine brake control ensures maximum riding stability in nearly any situation.
