This R 1200 GS is an uncommon LOW-CHASSIS example. Bob is just 5’5” tall with barely a 28” inseam. But he likes to sit tall in the saddle while riding, so this bike is also equipped with a standard height seat which he set in the low position for great ergonomics. This handsome Lupin Blue Metallic GS was deep-cleaned and detailed by our in-house pro. You can see the impressive results for yourself in these photos. There is not a scratch on any of the paintwork; in fact, it still looks brand new! A close examination of some of the peripheral parts, however, reveals that a tip-over left some very small scrapes on the left-side valve cover guard and the hand guard. There are also a few insignificant scuffs and dings on the side cases, but none of these little blems exceed what you would call normal wear. Finally, there’s a memento of Bob’s wry sense of humor visible in the form of the remaining ghost imprint of lettering Bob applied to the rear of his top case. (see photo) As the message is still quite readable, perhaps the next owner will find other motorists gladly willing to yield right-of-way in dense traffic situations!

This 2018 R1200 GS comes with the original owner’s books, original pull-off parts (including the passenger seat) and a few other niceties.
